Three ways to answer
The difficulty setting changes the format, not the pool. Easy shows the country on the globe and offers four capitals to choose from. Medium makes you type the capital — accent marks optional, so "bogota" and "asuncion" are fine. Hard flips the question: you're given a capital and must find its country on the globe with a single tap. Knowing that Nairobi belongs to Kenya is one thing; knowing where Kenya is is the real test.
Built to teach, not just test
Learning mode re-queues every capital you miss until it sticks and ends with an accuracy report by region. Countries with multiple capitals — South Africa, Bolivia, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands and friends — accept any official answer, so you're never marked wrong on a technicality.
