The Country Quiz on a 3D Globe

An unlabeled country lights up on a spinning globe. Can you name it?

Most country quizzes show you a flat map or a plain list. Orbil hands you the actual globe: drag it, spin it, zoom in on the highlighted country, and work it out the way a navigator would — from shape, size, and neighbors. It covers all 195 UN member and observer states, right down to the microstates most quizzes quietly skip.

Ways to play

Name Them All runs the entire pool one country at a time — your globe fills with green and red as you go, and the final map tells the story. Learning mode is the study tool: misses return until they stick, and you get a report of your accuracy by region. Time Attack gives you one to five minutes to name as many as possible. And the Daily Challenge serves five countries a day, one per continent, the same five to every player on Earth — one shot, streaks kept.

Pick your difficulty

Easy offers four choices per country. Medium makes you type the name (accents optional — "cote divoire" works fine). Hard is for map masters: you get only the country's name and must find it on the globe yourself with a single tap.

Study aid

Before or after a run, the full reference table lists every country with its flag, capital, and UN status. Orbil also has a capitals quiz and a flag quiz when the map itself gets too easy.
